Todays drawings and sharing more art yayy

 Hi ! Recently I went to a funeral, and there was a pride event in nyc.  Which was cool! The funeral was kind of sad though, but otherwise it was okay.

Other daily life stuff include looking at schools to transfer to from SVA. I may be leaving SVA. Nobody at SVA even knows (besides my advisor, though I only spoke to her once)… so that’s fun *sarcasm*.  I could possibly tell people who I do know at SVA, but I don’t know or stay in touch with people at SVA very often. I guess I could make a post on my Instagram ..? I’m not sure. But yeah we looked at schools in Utah and California.

But here’s more art I’ve been doing because I have been drawing a lot. :) mostly fan art though, some of my own characters more, and on a side note I’ve been crafting a lot, by crafting mostly crochet and sewing, and some other projects on my list.

5…frames for animation 

Speaking of animation, I’ve started this little animatic to that song by Gnarles Barkley called “crazy”. It’s not finished, but I’m super satisfied with it so far. It’s just for fun, it’s nothing serious.  I’m just gonna add it here even though it’s not a finished work. Please watch it!!! I spend a lot of time and effort on it. Feedback is appreciated but totally optional. If you watch it that would make my day! :)

There may be more pixel art coming up soon I’ve been really into drawing with pixels these days. I have a strong interest in it. So that’s all for now , I’ll add more art later.

Hi so I want to mention something

 The internet is annoying because whenever I click on something, it automatically assumes I’m interested in it. Then recommends me more stuff of the same.

It’s annoying, I’m sure other people have noticed it when they click on a link or type something in Google.

I could click on something and have zero interest in it, and it still doesn’t know or can tell either way.

This brings up an important article I read- on medium called “TikTok is now way worse than you thought” (https://medium.com/yardcouch-com/tiktok-is-now-way-worse-than-you-thought-e67d9ca2ea65 ) and I found it when searching: TikTok is dumb. Cause I genuinely don’t like TikTok even though I do have an account I barely ever use.  

Also, I just find it a serious problem for many people.

Like…challenges that turn out to be dumb or dangerous, peer pressure, social and political problems becoming careless and hive mind mentality, harassment based off sex or race, disability, social status, or even sexual orientation, and all your regular internet problems)….

and I find it especially annoying when old people are ignorant about it and say like, “it’s not a big deal” or “the new generation is changing everything” cause like it’s not, it’s a bad time for many people.  Many reasons why.  Also, China OWNS TikTok and actually controls it in the background. I have nothing against China, but they don’t really like us as a country(America) and are run by a dictator at the moment, so… that’s a problem?

MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE? When old people actually use or have TikTok themselves. Like, okay? Have fun with that? I’m sure,,, *rolls eyes*.  Whatever. I don’t care either way…

 Old people also seem to believe everything they see nowadays, and are not always open  to change their views or perspective (because age makes you more rigid, not all the time of course, but most of the time) or their lifestyles etc, but even basic things, LIKE THE FACT THAT NOT EVERY YOUNG PERSON GEN Z OR MILLENNIAL HAS TIKTOK. like, dude, come on.

So, let’s say HYPOTHETICALLY my views were different and I like TikTok and use it a lot. If I clicked on this article, about why TikTok is a serious problem, the computer/internet/whatever would ASSUME I don’t like TikTok. If this was an opposite scenario.

Let’s say, me with my dislike for TikTok, I  looked up “TikTok trends” and started actually using TikTok (not in a million years, but this is an example), would the computer internet whatever start recommending me more TikTok stuff? Yeah, it would! That’s the problem! The computer is monitoring what I look up and assuming what I like or don’t like. That’s my whole point.

I find this stupid; the algorithm is stupid. It doesn’t know anything about me. Ai, artificial intelligence is not actually that smart. Get rid of it. No offense, but it takes away people’s jobs as well. I don’t like it.

People who disagree are just relying on tech too much.

Deep down, we’re all just people.

Also, the article I shared from medium is really funny and accurate. Check it out. I love how he says “Americans have the memory of a goldfish”. So true…

Crafts recent

 I’m thinking of making a new blog specifically for crafts. That said, I thought I’d share the recent crafts I have made in the past few days on here. Why not :)

Beginning stages of the Joker wolf 

(Backstory- for some reason it crossed my mind that I thought it would be cool to combine a wolf with the joker and a bunny with harley, fitting for each character and their personalities/roles, so I looked for a wolf and a bunny pattern in order to make this a thing…I decided to make a plush of both for the concept, I could crochet one also in the future but I started with regular sewing for now)

(Info- this pattern I found and bought on Etsy by 10x2 studio, it’s a wolf plush pattern) (I’ll add a link to the pattern on Etsy, at the end, in case you’re curious or want to make a wolf too) :)

I started by drawing the concept as a sketch on sketchpad, relatively simple, and adding the clothes for reference (there are opportunities to make clothes for both so that’s good)

For her, I wasn’t sure if I should make the body without clothes and then add clothes later…but currently she has been designed without clothes, though I could easily change this in the future and make it so she has clothes separate and the rest of her body is the same color as her face, you know what I mean :)

I even drew a little fanart of this concept cause I like it so much, it’s so cute (but that wasn’t craft, that was just on the side since I felt like drawing it, haha) 

Then I began sewing based off the pattern, I made the head piece first. 

(The teeth took forever but he looks so cool)

(Also, the teeth were made with yellow polymer clay and were baked, the eyes were made with a bead I sticked to the white fabric with hot glue)

(The inner fabric is green gingham, you can see so idk why I’m mentioning haha)

Moving on, this specific project is still in progress!

She also has no arms as of yet but I’ll finish sewing them and attach them later, should be done soon

I’m not very good at crochet right now but I’m getting better! I’m super invested in improving and learning more techniques and I want to make more crochet things later on

Finally…

Drawing faces on mushrooms, this was just for fun, these are like clay fake mushrooms you get at the craft store…I just drew little faces on them with ink pen and let it dry :)
