I plan on making a Ribblr pattern

 So here’s my concept sketch for a crochet pattern !

I may upload it to Ribblr or possibly Etsy or some other sites like that. It’ll most likely be my first paid crochet pattern that I make, and I may need testers for it, I can make a tester application on Ribblr but I’m not there yet so yea!

I’ve actually never done that before, so it would be a new thing for me. 

I started writing up a pattern, here are some photos from it  :)

This is an update post!

So I finished the plush of BOTH Harley and Joker and I have some other small updates. 

Update 1, a long time ago I completed a form for animenyc artist alley so I could possibly sell my art at a table there. Unfortunately I'm in UT now at school, but I could return to NY during breaks. Double unfortunately, I'm on their wait list. Still waiting for an email  to come in october saying if i got an extra chance at a table. I don't know if I'll be able to do it this year, but I'll let you know if I do. If not there's always next year. It would be a great opportunity for me and if I do go I hope to see you there!!

And um yea here are the finished crochet plushies! I'm satisfied :) and I think next I want to crochet sailor moon but I have some other ideas too so yea (Ketchup from animal crossing, miku...Asuka...I can't find a pattern for Asuka OR Rei though, so I can use a base pattern I guess) (so odd there's no patterns for them)

I love both of them so much :D

I find crochet to be very fun

I'm also trying to crochet myself a sweater cause it's freezing outside where I am, but it would take a long time haha

Amigurumi process continued!

Hello, this is going to be a short update on projects! Specifically crochet projects ☆

 I'm getting better at crochet I think :)

Mostly! Because, for me right now, it's pretty straightforward to learn different stitches like obviously the basic slip stitch and single crochet but also slightly harder ones like half double crochet, triple decreases or increases etc.  It's becoming a little more like second nature to crochet certain stitches. But some I still have to double check and make sure that I am doing it right. It's a learning process :)

For example i figured out how to make a granny square :)

Which is basically something you start with a circle. And then you connect corners, with different stitches.  I used a good pattern, here's the one I used

So mine is not perfect, but that's because this is the first time I've EVER crocheted a doll on this difficulty level, this scale and this size.

This would be my first official amigurumi project!  Since I am much more used to sewing, all my finished sewing soft toy projects are certainly a great accomplishment but I definitely have more knowledge there than with crochet, so I'm super happy to learn more crochet and amigurumi crochet...! And I am going to keep practicing to the best of my ability

Again, mine is not perfect and has room for improvement :)

If I make it again, I will maybe get a better shape of the body simply by practicing and doing it more than once.  

But, mine's not too bad...I think mine is actually pretty cute.

question of the day I have to decide, should j give him a little more hair? Looking at other people's photos on etsy  I see the hair is super thick. Maybe I could keep adding more strands to make mine a little thicker. It's still possible to do that. 

And the other important thing is: When you look at my photos I'll share in a second, remember MINE IS NOT FINISHED lol!! I'm still making the arms, the yellow jacket/vest and the red suit jacket. :) so please keep that in mind, that this is a work in progress not a finished photo gallery -- yet :D

I like how I'm able to commit to the project. 

Okay, so places I want to improve. Definitely the head shape. Definitely some bit of the body could be more uniform. He's a little chunky at the top and the waist but I think that's cute. But maybe make him a little more thin? He can still be chubby, just a little less bumpy. THats the word i was looking for.  Like there are small increases and little bumps in his waist and butt and a bit in the legs. 

And the face shape could be improved. And the style of the face is fine, but you could experiment with ways of making the red mouth. Like I thought of using red felt instead and lightly sewing it on and then making a stitch for a sad mouth with brown thread.  That would be a slightly different take on it but may be cool too.  (Since you know. In the movie. He is pretty sad, and often feels bad *pats his head* don't be sad Arthur, I whisper to him, I mean Mr J)

So I have purple yarn so I wanted to make the dark knight Joker too with the same pattern. Also, I have a pattern for Harley and am going to make her so he has his Harley around and isn't too lonely. :) it's gonna be fun to make her too! Since I haven't started I won't add the pattern link just yet but I will when I start so you readers can buy it and make one if you want as well

(Also i know this is kinda obvious but I'm just sending the link to where to buy it, not the actual pattern because you are not supposed to share the pattern, it's against the rules of the creator.  So I try to respect that

What's gonna be super cute is the pattern for Harley, she's a little smaller when you check the measurements. So because he's a little bigger than her she'll be able to sit on his lap and snuggle I think that'll be adorable  ❤️ 

Unless my measurements are off :o haha

Crafts recent

 I’m thinking of making a new blog specifically for crafts. That said, I thought I’d share the recent crafts I have made in the past few days on here. Why not :)

Beginning stages of the Joker wolf 

(Backstory- for some reason it crossed my mind that I thought it would be cool to combine a wolf with the joker and a bunny with harley, fitting for each character and their personalities/roles, so I looked for a wolf and a bunny pattern in order to make this a thing…I decided to make a plush of both for the concept, I could crochet one also in the future but I started with regular sewing for now)

(Info- this pattern I found and bought on Etsy by 10x2 studio, it’s a wolf plush pattern) (I’ll add a link to the pattern on Etsy, at the end, in case you’re curious or want to make a wolf too) :)

I started by drawing the concept as a sketch on sketchpad, relatively simple, and adding the clothes for reference (there are opportunities to make clothes for both so that’s good)

For her, I wasn’t sure if I should make the body without clothes and then add clothes later…but currently she has been designed without clothes, though I could easily change this in the future and make it so she has clothes separate and the rest of her body is the same color as her face, you know what I mean :)

I even drew a little fanart of this concept cause I like it so much, it’s so cute (but that wasn’t craft, that was just on the side since I felt like drawing it, haha) 

Then I began sewing based off the pattern, I made the head piece first. 

(The teeth took forever but he looks so cool)

(Also, the teeth were made with yellow polymer clay and were baked, the eyes were made with a bead I sticked to the white fabric with hot glue)

(The inner fabric is green gingham, you can see so idk why I’m mentioning haha)

Moving on, this specific project is still in progress!

I’m not very good at crochet right now but I’m getting better! I’m super invested in improving and learning more techniques and I want to make more crochet things later on

Finally…

Drawing faces on mushrooms, this was just for fun, these are like clay fake mushrooms you get at the craft store…I just drew little faces on them with ink pen and let it dry :)
