Hi :-) today I found some old hats in my stuff and I put them on my art dolls 

It was a slightly bit hard to put some of them on but the result is SO CUTE

And the hats can easily be removed . Here’s them together :-) they’re cuddling ❤️ yee

All together now!!!

I am also crocheting some art dolls as well.

I mostly sew my art dolls, but sometimes I crochet them too. ^-^

idk . I want to find the fun in making art again-

Hi. This is a bit of a rant  post or feelings post, whatever you may call it

 I’ve given it some thought and I don’t like using instagram. 

For me art is about the fun of doing it, not the possibility of people asking for favors, asking for free requests (which is a problem on its own), looking at your art, finding your art and sending whatever comments (positive or negative). Art to me is the enjoyment of doing the art and feeling comfortable with your hands, exploring your ideas, and feeling love and passion for actually doing it. The act of doing art alone is enough. So why I use instagram or try to at least, I don’t know. I feel pressured. Social media is pressuring. Making people feel like they NEED to get attention. To be heard. To share. Why can’t you share your art with  your friends? Why do you NEED an audience? Can’t having some close art friends be enough?

Anyway, I’m not going to pressure myself to conform to this and use instagram when I often feel depressed or shitty. I need to take better care of my mental health. I haven’t updated my instagram in a long time, and you know what? I’m okay with that.  It’s not like anybody asked. I can take a break if I need to. 

I need to appreciate the fact that I am struggling and I have a lot of stress from other things. Past thoughts and conflicts, overthinking the bad experiences in the past. Remembering my shitty high school experience even though it’s already been more than 10 years. recalling being insulted, being sexually assaulted and being made fun of and laughed at. It all burns my brain. I need to realize I am a person first. I’m trying to accept even though i’m an artist, that’s not all I am. People are PEOPLE. If you’re an artist, you have to try to separate yourself from your art. You have reasons why you feel certain things, draw or tell certain stories. So just because you are an artist, you have to remember you still have a body  

Ok this was a rant post. I’m sorry if it was a bit personal. I have a lot more I’d like to express, but I’ll save it for another time. This blog serves me well. Journaling is healthy and important . Thanks for reading. I may make more interesting posts but for now I just needed to express this. Feelings I have that I don’t talk about much, still need to be written on occasion.   Thanks for understanding :,)

I hope you remember regardless of your art, if you are a beginner, if you are a seasoned artist, if you draw one thing more than the other, if you struggle with a certain skill in art, if you’re getting better, if you’re confident, if you like colors or not, if you draw a lot or just sometimes, whatever at all, no matter what type of artist you are— you are a person who matters. Don’t forget to take care of yourself.

Recent crochet/sewing projects + some wip(work in progress)

 Hiiiii! It’s tiny apples and I am tired

I have had 5 hour class today and I am exhausted and am so glad I’m back at home resting and not doing anything else important ;; phew

Here are my recent crochet projects! I’ve been crocheting a LOT (mostly from patterns, but tweaking the projects based off patterns for my own ideas, or occasionally making something from scratch completely without a pattern, I buy WAY too many patterns though LOL)

Dino cat in progress! From Maikoko studio, have to get safety eyes and finish the project, the dino cat looks so cute so far, I used pretty soft yarn in a coral pink sort of color :-) wanna make a blue one too at some point haha

Lesbian frog !! She’s so cute so far. The pattern is from LyraLuneSofties! It’s a very nice pattern by the way. Feel free to check it out, but yea I modified it so the belly has the lesbian flag! In the original it’s just a cream colored belly. :-) 

You could also do other flags or make pictures, I was thinking of looking up circular tapestry crochet but I didn’t find much. But that’s okay. It’s totally possible to sew some words on, phrases, embroider a design, I am thinking of many ideas of ways you could customize a frog! But I think mines really cute too so far, I hope to make more, I’m still working on this one tho, specially her eye sockets/eyes. She’ll be so cute when she’s done ❤️

Made this cute bra, also have to make the panties that come with it. The pattern is great! It’s from Saravah on Etsy. I think it’s called “High beach set”.  After I made it, I realized I had to modify it to help it fit me best. I didn’t realize it would be so small. I need to basically remove the sides by gently seam-ripping the stitches on the sides, crochet an additional piece in same color that’ll be attached to the side area. Also maybe make a waistband. And I’m considering gently seam-ripping the purple gingham inner lining fabric and adding a stretchier version of the same fabric, I’ve had it in my stash for a while. Hopefully I can pull this off well. Haha!  But yeah I’m sure I can do it. Don’t even worry about it, modifying stuff is something I do a lot and am comfortable doing. 

Finally I just wanna show you my Arthur plush I made cause I LOVE HIM AHAHA

he’s so soft :-) ^3^

I made his clothes separate from him so you can put other clothes on him- I usually do that with most of my plushies :-3

I have a lot more I’m working on, but I’ll share more soon!  When I’m not too busy obv :-) life can get busy, sometimes, but yea!

Hiiiii :)

Hi! Wanted to share some new art with you. I’ve been very busy. ;)

(This one has so many details but they’re tiny, so you’d have to zoom in)

The last one is a bit nsfw but still cool, she has a void inside her…

I’m also gonna be at MOCA in nyc a comics convention, sharing a table with a friend and workmate of mine.  We’re going to be selling some of his comic, that I’m taking part in. Hopefully people in the New York area can come say hi!  I’m excited! Hope to see you there. :)

Finally, I’m making some more projects. Those include 

- skeleton cat stop motion plush doll

- Kyandi stop motion plush doll (possibly also for the comic event, I would showcase her there)

- sweater for my animal crossing Isabelle plush (crochet)

Here’s what the crochet looks like so far !

It’s gonna be a rainbow sweater. :P

Happy new year! + free pixel animated wallpaper I made to share

 Hi, happy new year, it feels like during this year…so much happened so quickly, it feels like a blur..I have high hopes for the new year, I hope to accomplish a lot more! I also hope things improve around the world.  And I’m eager to see what the future holds, I guess. A little nervous, too, but mostly fine. :)

Anyway, I made a wallpaper that is inspired off a different wallpaper I have, that someone made and it’s very cute, it’s this-

(I love how it’s animated on the screen, I think that’s a super cool feature)

So here’s my wallpaper! Because I am nice, I am going to share it for free, but please if someone asks, tell them it came from me, artist, tiny apples :-) thanks!!!

I kind of wanted to make the animation smoother, but oh well. I will definitely try to update it, but if not, the next animation I make, I’ll work it out by making more frames which will probably help…!

Ideas

 Okay hi ! I made some clothing ideas for Arthur / Joker and they're rather cute if I could praise myself for just one moment, I really had fun drawing this so I may make more outfits for him (and additional  characters)

I was thinking of so many more ideas for outfits / clothes :)

Like more shirt designs primarily, and some additional variations to his suit. I forgot to add this outfit- 

I drew it once before though—

(I realize now his pants are actually red and not blue… when I drew this drawing, I was thinking of an outfit he wore where he wore blue jeans and a brown jacket and I guessed under the jacket was the white shirt with the dark red/maroon vest, but I guess I miscalculated. I can always go back and make an edit though so it’s ok!)

Later I kinda want to make a mood / image board for some more clothes ideas. For now, here are some examples :o)

Also I had trouble finding suspenders, so I thought I’d draw some.

I noticed he has a very retro style of clothing, probably because the movie takes place before Batman and modern times, so I find that very fun to draw and very visually interesting , I think it’s rather cute, I like retro / vintage clothes regardless, so that’s cool.  I still have to work on the color palette sort of element to this. It may take some time to get it right. 

Anyway that’s all!

It took me a hot sec to get the fact that him saying “who” was the whole joke because an owl makes the same sound…once I understood I actually laughed

It’s been hard to laugh nowadays since I’m a bit sad, so i hope I can laugh more, genuinely

Depression sucks

I try very hard to think about other things. Distracting myself helps a lot

But yea don’t think too much about everything, I try not to, its a bit stressful, so yea 

Anyway I’m going on a tangent now, so sorry about that, I’ll write more later for sure :o]
